Why I Finally Decided to Build an
Online Business the Right Way
Hi, my name is Yvonne Waller, and welcome to my very first blog post.
I decided to start this blog because I want to document my journey as I continue building an online business and learning more about affiliate marketing, list building, and creating income online step by step.
The truth is, I am not completely new to the online business world. This actually is my fresh start after years of trying different things!
In fact, I have tried a lot over the years.
I have looked into dropshipping, ebooks, digital marketing, selling t-shirts on Etsy, and more. I bought courses, watched training videos, and tried to follow different systems hoping one of them would finally make sense.
Some programs were helpful. Some were confusing. And honestly, some turned out to be nothing more than hype.
The frustrating part was that I could usually get started. I could learn the basics and follow along for a while. But eventually I would hit the same wall every time: marketing and traffic.
I did not have a huge budget for ads, and every time paid traffic came up, I felt overwhelmed. I did not understand how to consistently get visitors, how to scale things properly, or how to avoid spending more money than I was making.
Most of the time, it felt like I was trying to piece together a puzzle without ever seeing the full picture.
That is one of the reasons I decided to start this blog. I know there are many people out there who feel exactly the same way.
Why I Chose Affiliate Marketing
After trying different online business ideas over the years, I realised something important.
I did not want to create products from scratch, deal with inventory, or spend thousands of dollars testing complicated systems before I even understood how online business really worked.

That approach never felt stable to me.

What I Will Be Doing Next
Right now, my goal is to keep learning and taking steady action.
I will be focusing on:

- Documenting my progress and lessons along the way
I also want this blog to encourage other people who may feel discouraged or overwhelmed like I once did.
I truly believe everyday people can learn how to build an online income if they have the right guidance, a simple system, and realistic expectations.
You do not need to know everything before you begin.
You just need a better starting point.
Final Thoughts
This blog is not about pretending I have all the answers.
It is about sharing my real journey as I continue learning how to build an online business step by step.
I know there are many people out there who are tired of confusing programs, shiny objects, and feeling stuck. I have been there too.
What matters most to me now is finally having a simpler direction to follow and a system that helps me focus on building something long term instead of constantly starting over.
